“Did You Know There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd?” Lana Del Rey asks, debuting with 18.3 million streams on Spotify after a 2 year break from music. In her ninth album, Lana collabs with Mike Hermosa, Jack Antonoff, Drew Erickson, Zach Dawes, Benji, and features with Jon Batiste, Bleachers, Father John Misty, Tommy Genesis, SYML and Riopy. Work on the album started in 2021, shortly after the release of her eighth studio album, “Blue Banisters.”

Lana Del Rey’s new album, “Did You Know There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd?” features 16 tracks and is her 9th studio album. Fans were eagerly anticipating the release of the album, as it promises to be another masterpiece from the talented singer-songwriter. The album’s lead single, ‘A&W’, has already been released to critical acclaim, with fans praising the song’s dreamy sound and haunting lyrics. The whole album creates a creative game with the audience; an up for interpretation meaning and the whole idea of “art” itself. Especially, with the haunting, sending shivers down your spine and giving you goosebumps tunes in “Paris, Texas. Ft. SYML.” that gives off vibes from the 2009’s movie, Coraline.

The Weeknd released more versions of the song featuring Lana Del Rey, “Stargirl Interlude” on youtube.  In addition to this and her music; Lana Del Ray in Sep. 29, 2020 released a poetry book titled, “Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass.” that eventually came to be a New York Times bestselling debut book of poetry. Fans have started to hype this book up once again, causing Lana to gain even more fans and the hearts of poets and readers. With interesting mystical melodies and relatable lyrics that not only illustrate stories but teach lessons, Lana Del Rey has risen up above the tunnel under Ocean BLVD.
