Are You Ready For Freddy?

Five Nights at Freddy’s movie finally receives confirmation

Do you like horror? Do you like video games? If yes, then you must have heard of one of the most popular horror games, Five Nights At Freddy’s. If you’re not familiar with the popular game, Five Nights At Freddy’s was released in 2014 by creator Scott Cawthon, FNAF was written about a man named William Afton who made a living through creating animatronics, which later became possessed by the souls of murdered children and stalked the halls of a condemned pizzeria.

After years of waiting, debating, and consideration, the movie’s release date, October 27th of 2023, was finally confirmed. The movie will be directed by Emma Tammi, known for The Wind, Into the Dark, and Fair Chase. As for cast confirmations, we know that the role of the main villain, William Afton, will be played by famous actor Mathew Lillard, who is best known for acting as Shaggy in Scooby-Doo live-action and the voice for Shaggy in the cartoon series, Ghost Face in the first Scream, and Brian Speer in The Descendants.

The company Blumhouse Productions is also working with Warner Bros to help this movie come to its greatest success. Blumhouse is known for making great horror films like The Invisible Man, M3GAN, Halloween, and much more. The movie is being filmed in New Orleans and it is said to be taking place after the first game. It is rumored that if this film does well, two more films could follow after the second and third Five Nights At Freddy’s Games.

The movie will be showing the Afton family before the Bite of 83, a very iconic and gruesome event from the games. We will see the Afton family, who was a family of creators before it all went downhill into a pit of tragedy; how Afton Robotics came to be, how William’s loss sent him over the edge, and how the haunted pizzeria came to be.

We can also expect some crossover with the newest game, Security Breach, due to the fact that Elizabeth Lail has been cast as one of the main female villains, Vanessa. We can also expect some crossover with the newest game, Security Breach, due to the fact that Elizabeth Lail has been cast as one of the main female villains, Vanessa. Elizabeth Lail is most famous for acting in Countdown, You, and Once Upon a Time. We will also get to see the point of view of a security guard watching over the pizzeria for the night and what they face. I cannot even begin to explain how excited I am for this movie as well as the whole fandom. Sadly this is the last creation we are getting from Scott Cawthon; after nine years of his work, he is retiring. Still, everyone is super excited about this movie and we can not wait.
